The Encevo Group organises its sustainability commitments around three closely linked dimensions: Environment , Social  and Ethics & governance . Together, these dimensions form a coherent framework for addressing the challenges of the energy transition, while promoting trust, resilience, and long-term performance.

    The environmental dimension focuses on decarbonisation and system resilience. The group is reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy generation, improving energy efficiency, and developing sustainable energy offerings and future-ready infrastructure. Transparent reporting aligned with European objectives

The Encevo Group’s sustainability strategy is aligned with European sustainability and climate frameworks, including the ambition to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Commitments and progress relating to environment, social and governance are defined through dedicated policies and reported transparently in the group’s integrated Annual Report.

 

The Encevo Group’s sustainability strategy and commitments also contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which provide a globally recognised framework for sustainable development. Through its activities across the energy value chain, the group particularly supports the SDGs relating to climate action, affordable and clean energy, decent work, responsible consumption, and robust governance. This alignment ensures that the group’s actions contribute to shared international objectives while remaining rooted in regional needs and European policy frameworks.

Recognised standards and certification

This commitment is underpinned by clear policies and recognised standards.

 

Since 2015, Encevo and its main entities in Luxembourg have held the “Entreprise Socialement Responsable” (ESR) certification from the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (INDR). The Encevo Group also holds an EcoVadis sustainability certification with an overall score of 61/100, reflecting its performance in environmental, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement practices.
