Social

Responsibility towards people and society

The Encevo Group recognises its social responsibility as an integral part of its role as a regional energy and infrastructure partner. The group’s activities influence the lives, work and environment of people across Luxembourg and the Greater Region, and social considerations are embedded in strategic, operational and investment decisions.

  • A trusted and reliable partner

The group is committed to acting responsibly towards its employees, customers, business partners, stakeholders and local communities. Long-term relationships are built on trust, fairness and an awareness of the direct and indirect consequences of its activities.

  • Resilience, security and long-term supply

Environmental considerations are integrated into infrastructure planning and operations to ensure that decarbonisation goes hand in hand with secure access to energy, a competitive supply and long-term system stability.

  • Local engagement and social value

Wherever the group operates, it supports sustainable investments, works with local companies and partners, contributes through taxes and offers long-term employment opportunities thereby strengthening regional economic and social resilience.

Community initiatives and human rights

Beyond its core activities, the Encevo Group contributes to social and community initiatives through the engagement of many entities across the group. These contributions take various forms, including local partnerships, support for social and educational projects, and long-term regional initiatives that promote cohesion and inclusion.

The Fondation Enovos plays a dedicated role in structuring and supporting this engagement, in addition to initiatives led directly by group entities. Together, these actions reflect the group’s commitment to the communities in which it operates.

The group is committed to human rights extends across its own operations, supply chains and the communities in which it operates. This commitment is defined in the Human Rights Policy, which guides responsible conduct and risk management, as well as setting out expectations for partners, thereby ensuring respect for fundamental rights throughout the value chain. Furthermore, Encevo has signed the Luxembourg Human Rights Pact, reinforcing its dedication to promoting and respecting human rights in accordance with national and international principles.
